Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Irving, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Texas run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Irving is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Irving is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The quality of the food has definitely declined. I ordered the shrimp tempura. Full of artificial crabmeat with small pieces of shrimp

Don't yell at Uber drivers when they arrive and answered your questions appropriately. We're not your dogs or slaves. Even they get treated better in other countries.

Unbelievable! Super fresh sushi!! The whole family loved it πππ We are all huge sushi connoisseurs & we all loved the food from here. I was also really impressed with the photo menu on the wall of all of the different kinds of sushi rolls available - that was REALLY cool π Thank you!!!

I had Edohana delivered to a nearby hotel but let me tell you I had the best experience and the food was delicious! Upon placing the order the restaurant called and verified a few things, she was unbelievably kind and wanted everything to be perfect. I appreciated that. The jalapeΓ±os were so flavorful and crispy, I loved them. The rolls were fresh and exactly like I ordered them. Everything was packaged nicely and included everything you would need to enjoy the deal. 100% recommend!

This was one of my favorite sushi places pre Covid. It was my first time back since the pandemic. They provide large portions and the service was really quick. The food was delicious. It was my first time having the drink - the melon Ramune. The drink was a little complicated to open, so read the directions before opening. I will definitely be back. Because the portion are large you will probably have food left over.
